Here is an intermediate clarinet quartet arrangement by Mark A. Craig / Craig Music Publishers of Charles Lefebvre's "Canon, from Suite Op. 57." This transcription of a Romantic Era work is perfect for recitals, contests/competitions, graduations, weddings, children's concerts (teaching about the fugue), educational outreach events, and background dinner music gigs. It was written for professional, college, and upper-level high school ensembles. My arrangements for CQ feature equally balanced parts--all Bb's will get to play the melody, counter melody/harmony, and obbligato/technical passages equally.
