This woodwind quartet arrangement by Mark A. Craig / Craig Music Publishers of Orlando Gibbons’ joyous a cappella anthem "Hosanna to the Son of David" is a lovely adaptation of a choral Renaissance classic with a sacred text by Saint Matthew. It is a perfect opener or closer for recitals and also great for weddings, church services, and a great tool for teaching the "Fugue" at children's concerts or educational outreach events. It was written for professional, college, and upper-level high school ensembles. I have included an alternate bass clarinet part in lieu of a missing bassoon. Originally a choral music classic, I hope you enjoy this unique transcription for winds.
