Wagner (J.F.): Under the Double Eagle - for Woodwind Quintet
This woodwind quintet arrangement of Josef Franz Wagner's march "Under the Double Eagle" is not the typical American or Sousa-type march. Wagner was an Austrian military music composer, and the title is a reference to the two-headed eagle in the Austria-Hungary coat of arms. This arrangement was written for professional, college, and upper-level high school ensembles and is perfect for recitals, weddings, graduation ceremonies, and background dinner music gigs. I have included an alternate bass clarinet part in lieu of a missing bassoon. Originally scored for a military band, I hope you enjoy this unique setting for woodwind quintet.
